Entry Procedures
ONLINE SUBMISSION
The 2026 Awards of Excellence In Housing consist of online submissions; materials must be submitted by the Monday November 15, 2026 11:59 pm deadline.
If you foresee a conflict meeting this deadline please contact the office at 403-328-2288. Once the deadline has passed no further submissions can be uploaded.
ENTRY COMPLETION
Create your member account.
- Select the category you wish to enter, and submit your information according to the specifications for the category
- All supporting materials listed are REQUIRED.
- Include electronic copy of current corporate logo for production (JPEG)
- Do not reference your company name in the written submission, and ensure that there are no logos in the photos and floor plans you use
- Entries will be saved in your member account, and can be edited up until the entry deadline (November 15, 2026. If you require assistance with submissions, please contact our office at 403-328-2288.
Accuracy of submitted materials is the responsibility of the applicant. Information given on the entry form will be used exactly as submitted in the award ceremony through production, presentation, and recognition in the media.
ENTRY FEE
- Entry Fees are $175 total per entry, with some awards having no fee to enter.
- Entry fees will be invoiced by the organization
PHOTO SUBMISSION SPECIFICATIONS
- Maximum number of allowable images is noted in each category
- Renovation categories must include a minimum of 2 before images taken from the same perspective as the after photos
- Multi Family & Single Family New Home categories must include at least one exterior photo including portrait and landscape
- If virtual staging is being used, photos of pre-staging must be submitted with entry.
- For best production quality digital images should be uncompressed JPEGs
SUBMISSION DEADLINE
- Online submission, including all supporting documentation, must be complete by 11:59 p.m. November 15, 2025.
PROMOTION AS AN AWARD OF EXCELLENCE WINNER
- Our association Member companies and their affiliates must indicate the Year and the Award Category Title in which they won or were a finalist when advertising/promoting/etc. There are to be NO changes made to the NAME of the Award category
FINAL NOTES
- Our association reserves the right to disqualify incomplete submissions without notice or refund
- Acceptance of submissions received is at the discretion of Our association
- Our association reserves the right to realign categories due to volume of entries. If this process should take place, entrants will be notified
- All entrants agree to be bound by these rules
JUDGING PROCEDURES | DETAILS
Judging Procedures | Details
- Judging will take place online after closing the entries.
- Incomplete entries are judged accordingly and may be disqualified due to insufficient information and materials
- Entries will be judged according to the criteria as listed in each award
- Decisions of the judges are final
- The Board of Directors reserves the right to revise or cancel any of the Award procedures to ensure fairness and equality in the Awards program
- There will be no onsite judging homes, with the exception of the Builder Safety award.
- Each entry will be judged on its own merit by a panel of industry judges from outside the Lethbridge region
- Single Entries: if the single entry is in a category that can be combined, we may combine categories to promote competition. If a single entry is in a category that cannot be combined, that entry must meet or exceed a minimum benchmark score to be eligible to win. The award is not automatically awarded.
- Judges will be properly trained to be aware of what is required for virtual staging and invited to bring any suspected photoshopped or undeclared virtual staged photos to the administration's attention before offering a score.
