Description
Recognizes an individual in the first five years of their residential construction career who is already demonstrating leadership, initiative, strong character and a positive influence in their workplace, industry, and/or community.
• Peer nomination only. Self-nomination is not permitted.
• A nomination may be submitted by someone from the nominee's company or by another BILD member. Please indicate if you would like the nomination to be anonymous.
• No entry fee is charged.
• The nominee must accept the nomination before it proceeds to judging.
• Examples may come from the nominee's professional work, industry involvement, volunteer service, community contribution or personal actions that demonstrate leadership and character.
• Any personal or sensitive information should only be included with the nominee's permission.
Requirements
Completed nominator form and responses to each judging criterion.
Confirmation that the nominee is within the first five years of a residential construction career.
Name and contact information for one person BILD may contact to verify information in the nomination.
Minimum of one and maximum of five high-quality, public-use photographs. At least one photograph must clearly show the nominee and be suitable for the awards presentation and promotional materials.
Optional entrant-produced video of no more than two minutes. The video may support the nomination by showing the nominee's leadership, character, contribution or impact. It may not be professionally produced or created by artificial intelligence. Production quality will not be scored.
Optional supporting document of no more than three pages. Supporting documentation should directly verify information in the nomination and may include a letter of support, initiative summary, volunteer or community record, training record, published article, recognition received or evidence of results.
Nominee acceptance and confirmation that the submitted information is accurate and that permission has been provided for any personal information included in the nomination.
